Technical Program Manager

We are looking for an experience and strategic Technical Program Manager to join our client a global cutting-edge tech and digital solutions company, servicing all over US and G7 countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management

• Driving program strategy and overseeing multiple projects and ensuring they align with organizational goals whilst making decisions to ensure program success
• Building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Collaborating with all Stakeholders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Development and QA team to develop and manage program/project requirements, scope, objectives, resources, timelines and deliverables
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders regularly

Project Planning, Execution & Timeline Management

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource requirements and monitoring project timelines and milestones
• Ensure effective utilization of resources to achieve project goals
• Take corrective actions to address delays or deviations from schedule

Technical Oversight

• Have a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the project
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and constraints
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team

Impediments & Risk Management

• Identifying and alerting potential risks, issues, roadblocks and challenges in the program/project lifecycle
• Implementing strategies to mitigate during the program/project lifecycle
• Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables
• Alerting and communicating progress updates to management and stakeholders on the impact of the project timelines or deliverables
• Collaborate with teams to implement mitigations and contingency plans

Quality Assurance

• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes
• Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination and delivery of high-quality results

Budget & Resource Management

• Develop, manage project budgets and monitor expenses and ensure that the project stays within financial constraints, as necessary
• Allocate and manage resources efficiently and effectively
• Ensure that team members have the tools and environment needed for success

Leadership & Mentoring

• Provide leadership, mentorship and direction to the project team
• Foster a collaborative, positive and result-oriented team environment

Reporting

• Ensure project reporting on individual productivity, team delivery and timeliness, and quality is delivered to management weekly.
• Escalate program issues to management effectively and in near real time for all issues that materially impact client deliverables or company goals.

Continuous Improvement & Learning

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Encourage the team to reflect and feedback on technical challenges and implement improvements
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes and workflows
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with technical competency in software and/or mobile development process and methodologies,
• Able to understand and discuss technical concepts, challenges, and solutions with development teams.
• Strategic thinking to align technical initiatives with overall organizational goals.
• Proficiency in using metrics and data to assess team and organizational performance.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adaptable to changes
• Leadership and mentoring skills to guide, motivate, influence and inspire cross functional teams (including technical leads).
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, to interact with stakeholders and/or team members effectively, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges arise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
