Job Responsibilities:

Application Support:

  • Monitor the performance and availability of applications to ensure they meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex application issues.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring quick resolution of reported issues.
  • Document application-related incidents, resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Deployment Tasks:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee application deployments, updates, and patches.
  • Develop and maintain deployment scripts, automation tools, and configurations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., DevOps, QA, Development) to ensure smooth and timely deployments.
  • Conduct pre- and post-deployment testing to validate system functionality and stability.
  • Rollback deployments when necessary and troubleshoot failed deployment scenarios.

Operations Support:

  • Monitor system logs, alerts, and performance metrics to proactively identify potential issues.
  • Implement and maintain system monitoring tools to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Provide support for disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
  • Maintain documentation for operational procedures, deployment workflows, and incident responses.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in Java, Linux CentOS, MS SQL, Nginx / TomCat / Apache will be added advantages.
  • 3 - 5 years of working experience in IT Operation & Support OR stock broking industry.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
