Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements and responsible for the staffing tasks, including manpower planning, job description preparation, advertisement posting, liaising with recruitment agencies, interview coordination, offer extending, reference checking and new hire orientations
  • Perform daily HR duties from on-boarding to off-boarding, inclusive of insurance enrolment for new hires and termination for exiting employees.
  • Identify training and development needs, organise staff training sessions, workshops and other activities
  • Administer HR-related documentation, maintain and update information in the HR system, such as personnel file management, payroll and benefits administration
  • Maintain HR documentation, such as Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Guidelines, Service Agreements, and Contracts of Employment.
  • Provide advice and handle all employee inquiries in Malaysia
  • Provide support and work closely with the Singapore HR Team in all HR-related matters
  • Provide support for any office related matters
  • Undertake any ad-hoc projects assigned by the management team from time to time

Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Administrative / Business Studies
  • Minimum 5 years HR related experience in a financial institution or a sizable multinational company.
  • A good understanding of HR laws and practices in Malaysia.
  • Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Independent with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude to multi-task and work in an organized manner under pressure and time constraints
  • A team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
