Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established care plans, medical protocols, and safety guidelines.
- Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and mental health conditions, and document findings accurately.
- Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and adjust care as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, preventive care, and post-care instructions.
- Monitoring: Observe patients for changes in condition, and take appropriate action when required. Monitor vital signs and other health indicators regularly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring that all information is documented according to legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
- Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols to maintain a sterile and safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies, assisting in resuscitation and stabilization efforts as necessary.
- Health Promotion: Participate in patient and community health education programs to promote health and wellness.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with the latest nursing practices, healthcare trends, and industry regulations.
- Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or Head Nurse.
Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
RM 1500.00 Outpatient medical benefit and medical insurance coverage - Rm30,000.00 after probation period.
