Supporting the PMO and Project Delivery Lead, the PMO Analyst will play a crucial role in evolving our PMO capability, supporting our organization's strategic change portfolio, and enhancing our project delivery, effectiveness, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have firsthand PMO experience, with the ability to contribute immediately, tracking project progress, generating reports and dashboards, and refreshing and refining our PMO functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Oversight: Monitoring and managing the Portfolio of projects within the Program Office, ensuring alignment with Organizational goals and strategies.
- Intake Management and Prioritisation: Supporting the Intake and Prioritisation processes for new Initiatives.
- Resource Allocation: Assisting in resource allocation across Projects within the Portfolio, ensuring resources are effectively utilized.
- Methodology, Practices, and Standards: Continuous improvement of the PMO methodology, practices, and standards.
- Governance and Assurance: Maintaining accurate documentation of Project information, including Project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports. Enforcing governance processes and standards to ensure compliance with Organizational policies and procedures.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitating communication and collaboration among Project Teams and other stakeholders. Providing regular updates on Portfolio status and performance to ensure transparency and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing Project data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to Project Managers and stakeholders. This includes tracking project progress, risks and issues, dependencies, and proposing solutions to optimize Portfolio performance.
- Guidance and mentoring: Coaching and mentoring Project Teams and other stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience working in a Technology PMO environment.
- Familiarity with PMO Governance and Compliance practices.
- Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed organization working across multiple time-zones to support Portfolio delivery.
- Exceptional leadership, people skills, organizational, and strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- An understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Able to navigate and influence senior stakeholders and groups.
- Able to draft governance material and reports fit for a senior stakeholder audience.
- Excellent diligence, quality, and accuracy of reporting.
- Able to provide quantitate and qualitative views of reporting.
- Comfortable and willing to assist with the PMO moving through transition states.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio
- Reporting experience with Jira, Tableau, and Excel would be advantageous.
- Experience with collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint) would be advantageous.
- Highly initiative-taking, well-organized, disciplined and driven.
Education / Qualifications
- Professional qualifications such as P3O, PMO Certified Practitioner, or similar would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of industry standard project management methodologies such as PMP, Prince2 or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is desirable.
