Senior Executive , Application Support

Summary of Job Description Prepare test plan and test scripts and perform testing of the Self-Service Terminals (SST) based on agreed requirements and project schedule to ensure new applications and/or enhancements comply with the Technical Specifications, Functional Specification Document and/or Business Requirement Document. Primary Responsibilities • Prepare test plans and test scripts for new application and/or enhancements to conform with Technical Specifications, Functional Specification Document and/or Business Requirement Document. • Perform testing based on the test script, in compliance with IT best practices and agreed project schedule. • Compile and review test results and file for future reference. • Develop scripts to automate processes for ease of test and/or migration. • Optimise usage of cloud test resources to ensure cost efficiency. • Be vigilant for any potential application and security incidents or threats and notify management immediately. • Periodically review and revise testing procedures and/or user manuals. • Develop competencies to troubleshoot and resolve problem logs. Competencies 1. Product and Market Knowledge • Possesses good understanding of the CRM / ATM industry, and keeping updated on information and development of the CRM / ATM industry. • Possesses good understanding, based on technical working experiences (including basic operational knowledge) to carry out the above daily tasks. • Possesses ability to compile and collate data to build understanding and awareness of industry and product knowledge including fraud trends. 2. Stakeholder Management • Possesses good understanding of relevant stakeholders based on operational working experience • Possesses basic working relationships with relevant stakeholders including understanding quality and timeline of deliverables 3. Analytics & Reporting • Possesses understanding of data analytics concepts (e.g., statistical techniques) and ability to extract and report relevant information. 4. System, Application & Database Configurations • Possesses understanding on infrastructure set-up consisting of system, application & database configuration 5. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving • Possesses ability to identify root causes for incidents and other issues and suggest action plans to resolve 6. System & Application Testing • Possesses understanding of system and application testing methodology based on technical knowledge and/or experience Minimum Qualifications • Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or in a related field. A Degree in any of the above fields would be an advantage • Knowledge and experience in AS400, SQL are a must. • Knowledge and experience in AWS cloud implementation & Linux operating system would be advantageous • Strong computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint • Strong ability to establish, develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
