Expense Monitoring: - Track and monitor company expenses, ensuring they are within budget. - Assist in expense claim processing and verification. Customer & Supplier Interaction: - Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding account balances, payment schedules, and other financial matters. - Provide support in resolving discrepancies and queries. Learning and Development: - Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance accounting skills. - Stay updated with the latest accounting practices and regulations. Ad Hoc Duties: - Perform any other accounting-related duties as assigned by the supervisor. - Assist in various finance projects as required. Accounts Receivable (AR): - Assist in keying in AR data, including customer invoices and payments. - Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments. - Help in reconciling AR records with customer statements. Sales Data Entry: - Input daily sales transactions into the accounting system. - Ensure accuracy in recording sales figures and maintaining up-to-date records. - Assist in generating sales reports for review by management. Petty Cash Management: - Manage and record petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation. - Reconcile petty cash balances and prepare reports for reimbursement. - Assist in maintaining accurate petty cash logs. Document Management: - Organize and file financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and petty cash vouchers. - Ensure all records related to AR, sales, and petty cash are accurately filed and easily accessible. Financial Reporting: - Support the preparation of reports related to AR, sales, and petty cash. - Assist in the analysis of sales trends and cash flow management. Bank Reconciliation: - Assist in reconciling bank statements with company records, focusing on AR and petty cash accounts. - Identify and report any discrepancies between bank statements and financial records. Customer & Supplier Interaction: - Communicate with customers regarding AR balances and payment schedules. - Provide support in resolving any discrepancies or queries related to AR or sales.
