Job Title: Data Coordinator/Administrator (12 month contract period)

Reporting To: eCommerce Manager
Works With: Marketing, Retail, Logistics & Finance Team

Main Purpose of the Role
To support the management of product and operational data across the company’s eCommerce platforms. This role is responsible for assisting with data entry, maintenance, and reporting tasks while ensuring the accuracy and quality of online product information.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and update product details (descriptions, pricing, images, and stock availability) on the eCommerce platform.
- Verify and correct product data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assist in organizing product categories and maintaining an intuitive website structure.
- Monitor and report on stock levels to ensure data accuracy.
- Support the inventory level by flagging low-stock items or discrepancies.
- Help maintain synchronization between online stock levels and physical inventory.
- Assist in uploading product images and other digital assets.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure product descriptions aligned with campaigns.
- Regularly review product listings for errors, broken links, or missing content.
- Collect and organize data for basic performance reports (e.g., sales trends, traffic insights).
- Support senior team members in analyzing product and sales performance metrics.
- Identify patterns or anomalies in data and escalate them for review.
- Assist in conducting regular audits to ensure website functionality and product accuracy.
- Help resolve basic data-related issues, such as missing products or incorrect information.
- Assist with preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Collaborate with IT or external support teams to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries through Live Chats on Shopee and Lazada, resolving issues related to orders, products, delivery status and returns, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Work with other departments to obtain and verify accurate product information.
- Support marketing campaigns by ensuring relevant product data is available and accurate.
Knowledge Required
- A diploma or degree in Business Administration, IT, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
- Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or eCommerce
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and third-party marketplaces (e.g., Shopee, Lazada) is a plus but not required.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Importantly basic skills in Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting, simple formulas).
- Familiarity with content management systems or web-based tools is beneficial.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
