You will be responsible for ensuring the timely, consistent, and efficient management of Unix system patching activities. This involves coordinating with IT teams, monitoring compliance, tracking OS patch levels, and ensuring system updates are applied as required. The role would include data management scope as well (data management and paperwork).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaison between IT Teams:
- Act as a point of contact between different IT departments (e.g., operations, security, network, infrastructure) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of patching activities.
- Ensure all stakeholders are updated on patching statuses, issues, and upcoming changes
2. Planning, Coordination, and Monitoring:
- Create and maintain detailed schedules for Unix system patching, ensuring that all updates are completed within established timeframes.
- Monitor resource allocation and manage deliverables to guarantee patching tasks are executed efficiently.
3. Documentation & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain documentation outlining Unix system configurations, patching procedures, policies, and schedules.
- Track and report on patch levels, patching compliance, and remediation statuses regularly.
- Provide reports on patch currency, OS obsolescence, and vulnerability remediation.
- Keep track of OS patching currency and obsolescence timelines for all Unix systems.
4. Change Management:
- Raise and manage change requests for OS patching, upgrades, and remediation processes.
- Manage risk assessments and ensure minimal disruption to production systems during patching activities.
