Job Overview:

The Accounts Assistant will support the finance and accounting team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. This role involves processing transactions, preparing financial documentation, maintaining records, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling a fast-paced work environment.

  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data and transactions into accounting systems, ensuring correctness and timeliness.
  • Invoice Processing: Assist in preparing, verifying, and processing invoices for both accounts receivable and payable.
  • Financial Documentation: Support in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and documentation for audits.
  • Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and other ledger accounts.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and record expenses, ensuring compliance with budget guidelines.
  • Payment Processing: Assist in preparing payment runs, handling petty cash, and processing employee expense claims.
  • Filing and Record Keeping: Maintain and organize both digital and paper financial records for easy access and retrieval.
  • Communication: Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and other account-related queries.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
