Job Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Planning and Strategy
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to assess procurement needs for building projects and golf course renovations.
- Develop and implement procurement plans to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Align procurement strategies with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Vendor Management
- Identify, assess, and pre-qualify potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost-effective procurement solutions.
3. Sourcing and Purchasing
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services required for building projects.
- Acquire specialized items for golf course renovation, including turf, landscaping materials, and golf-specific equipment.
- Ensure all materials and services meet quality standards and project specifications.
4. Contract and Compliance Management
- Prepare, review, and manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational policies.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to contract terms, conditions, and performance standards.
- Resolve contract variations or disputes in coordination with the legal team.
5. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply for ongoing projects and timely replenishment to prevent delays.
- Work closely with logistics teams to guarantee on-time delivery of materials to project sites.
- Track and analyze material usage and wastage to enhance procurement efficiency.
6. Cost Control and Tender Management
- Assist stakeholders in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and conducting technical and commercial evaluations.
- Manage the tender process, including drafting and issuing tender invitations, clarifying submissions, conducting interviews, and facilitating negotiations.
- Oversee the tender award process and ensure smooth approvals in line with organizational policies.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, cost management, or vendor management, particularly in construction or golf course maintenance projects.
- Proven experience in managing procurement for specialized items such as landscaping materials, turf, and golf course equipment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of procurement planning, vendor management, and tender processes.
- Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain coordination.
- Familiarity with Bills of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and technical/commercial evaluations.
- Understanding of contract management, including legal compliance and dispute resolution
