Position Title: Assistant Account Manager

Our client is a US based MNC, a global provider of interconnect solutions, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and integration of cables, harnesses, and connectors. Currently they are looking for an "Assistant Account Manager" to be based in their Seberang Jaya's plant, assisting in accounting processes and lead a team of 9.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and monitor monthly cash flow and cash flow projections to management and treasury activities
  • Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirement
  • Oversee the daily accounting functions, including Account Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL), ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year end closing processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiencies
  • Support monthly account closing, including financial statement, schedule, tax computations and related tasks
  • In charge of income tax computation, tax filing and ensuring adherence to tax regulations and compliance
  • Generate, review and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Dealing with internal and external parties on operational matter, financial requirement, statutory reporting needs, taxation and audit
  • Assist the accounting department head in department management and supervise the daily work of the accounting team
  • Any and all other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior/management

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field • Have 5 to 7 years of working experience in financial reporting or accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able communicate in Mandarin is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power Point presentation. SAP / other ERP system knowledge will be an added advantage

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
