Job Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and expansion of the preschool by focusing on market opportunities, franchise development, and financial optimization.

This role requires an experienced individual with deep knowledge of preschool operations, franchising processes, and financial forecasting to ensure sustainable growth.

Job Responsibilities

1. Preschool Growth Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans aligned with organizational goals to expand the preschool’s footprint.
  • Identify potential locations for new preschools based on market research, demographics, and demand analysis.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to enhance market positioning and operational success.

2. Franchise Development

  • Lead the end-to-end development of a franchise model for the preschool, including franchise operations, agreements, and compliance.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and onboard franchise partners who align with the organization’s mission and values.
  • Provide ongoing support to franchisees to ensure adherence to quality standards and successful operations.

3. Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Analyze financial data to prepare detailed forecasts for revenues and expenses related to new preschools and franchise operations.
  • Prepare business feasibility studies, including cost analysis, breakeven points, and profitability models for proposed expansion projects.
  • Monitor financial performance and optimize cost structures to maximize profitability.

4. Marketing and Brand Awareness

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote preschool services and franchise opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to increase brand visibility through social media, events, and community engagement.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to refine marketing and expansion strategies.

5. Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all new preschools comply with curriculum requirements, operational standards, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with academic and operations teams to maintain high-quality preschool environments across all locations.
  • Regularly assess and enhance processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in operations.

6. Leadership and Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (curriculum development, finance, and operations) to support the growth strategy.
  • Mentor and lead a team of junior staff or franchise coordinators as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
