QA EXECUTIVE
Position Overview:
The QA Executive will be required to report to the Manager (or such other persons as may be designated by the Head of Department).
Key Responsibilities:
Audits and Inspections
Conduct Audits: Perform unannounced internal audits of outlets to assess compliance with food safety, sanitation, and product quality standards.
Complaint Management
Investigate any incidents of non-compliance or customer complaints regarding food quality or safety.
Training and Development
· Identify training needs for staff regarding food hygiene and safety practices, providing necessary coaching and support.
· Coordinate ongoing training sessions to keep operation team updated on regulatory changes and quality assurance techniques.
Pest Management
Coordinate pest service at the store, follow up on action items, as well as providing preventive measures.
Data Monitoring and Analysis
Monitor food safety metrics, analyze data related to food quality, and prepare reports on findings.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations, including HACCP and GMP standards.
Menu Development
· Assist in menu development process from conceptualization to product launch to ensure projects completed according to schedule.
· Conduct material testing including feasibility, sensory, holding tests for approval as replacement / alternative material.
· Gather, analyze and report on latest food trend information for idea generation.
· Maintain organized documentation of test reports, product procedures and relevant supporting documents to facilitate in information sharing.
· Perform any other tasks as entrusted by superior or Head of Department and/or any other representatives assigned by the Management from time to time.
Qualifications:
· A bachelor’s degree /Diploma in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field is typically required.
· 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance within the food service industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
· Proficiency in quality management systems and data analysis tools.
· Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
· Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Food Science / Food Technology / Quality Assurance or in a related field.
· At least 1 year of working experience in related field.
· Proficiency in quality management system and data analysis tools.
· Basic knowledge on Halal Management
· Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
· Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with restaurant management and regulatory bodies.
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for identifying potential issues.
· Leadership capabilities to motivate team members towards achieving quality objectives.
· Ability to adapt to changing environments while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
· Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
· Creative, result oriented and has passion for innovation in food.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
