Experienced SAP MM Logistics System Analyst – Techno Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Participate in cross-functional teams to:
Analyze complex business and functional requirements.
Design systems and processes.
Create functional specifications.
Drive system development and testing.
Manage project cutover, post-go-live support, and handover to the SAP support group.
Hands-on role in S/4HANA implementation tasks:
Develop test scripts, perform test execution, and support UAT.
Perform detailed system analysis, functional specification development, and configuration on S/4HANA for logistics.
Configure, design, and customize SAP solutions to support logistics and supply chain for diverse business groups.
Understand and assimilate complex business processes across multiple supply chain functions.
Monitor and report on project deliverables, progress, and outcomes.
Collaborate with global IS&T teams during requirement analysis, design reviews, builds, and testing phases.
Extend SAP features using enhancement and extensibility frameworks:
User exits, implicit enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, etc.
Develop technical specifications for partner system integrations, enforcing global design standardization.
Work through ambiguity with business and cross-functional teams to define workable models and designs.
Debug and troubleshoot the SAP development platform.
Review technical development deliverables for accuracy during SIT, UAT, etc.
Ensure adherence to project governance and deliver quality work throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Qualifications

Experience:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
At least one full life-cycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA.
Expertise in handling S/4HANA mandatory changes, testing phases, and data validation tasks.
Industry Knowledge:
Previous experience in high-tech industry supply chain systems and processes.
Specialized in SAP Logistics modules with extensive technical and business knowledge in supply chain management.
End-to-end system integrations in outsourced production environments using 3rd Party Logistics.
Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience in custom development and MM customization (e.g., Plant, SLoc, Shipping Points).
Functional expertise in OTC and PTP processes in highly customized environments.
Proficiency in:
Consignment, STO PO, intercompany/intracompany scenarios.
Delivery processing (Sales Order, Delivery Note).
Custom function modules, RFC, and custom reports.
iDoc EDI, API, and interface protocols (AS2, sFTP, etc.).
ABAP debugging.
Exposure to WMS operations.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and comfort working in ambiguity.
Ability to learn complex processes quickly in dynamic environments.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
