Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for timely documentation of technical design and specifications in accordance with the business specifications and Allianz project standards.

2. Ensure timely completion of software development within project schedule.

3. Compliance of development functions to System Development Guideline and Standards.

4. Quality of application developed and implemented within system specifications and user requirements.

5. Assimilation of the Group core competencies in dispensing his/her roles and responsibilities.

6. Keeping up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment.

7. Constant communication with team members/users/vendors.

8. Collaborate daily with upstream and downstream developers and engage in full software development lifecycle.

9. Perform technical support services for users in operations guidance and troubleshooting on all application systems.

10. Ability to lead system development team for guiding and reviewing the codes quality of the developer for Senior position.

11. Develop and maintain the technical manuals, user guide and system operating procedures documentation.

12. Perform user requirements and system feasibility studies.

Key Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree,

Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

2. At least 7 years) of working experience in the related any Java Web Based Financial Application and in leading a development team.

3. At least 5 years) of hands-on experience in Java Springboot, Angular, HTML 5 and CSS related technical knowledge.

4. Strong knowledge Java JEE/JavaScript/HTML/SQL Programming.

5. Ability to guide and review the code of the developers.

6. Experience in Insurance/Financial Industry.

7. Knowledge of software design fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design, and complex analysis.

8. Knowledge of software development fundamentals, including testing, troubleshooting and using of managed version control.

9. Experience in PostgreSQL/DB2/Oracle database as well as SQL programming like PL/SQL.

10. Ability to provide application solutioning, detail design and create component-based reusable and testable modules and pages.

11. Experience in Maven scripting and pipelines for DEVSECOPS automation.

12. Familiar with and/or have experience in Agile development.

13. Familiar with and/or have experience in DEVSECOPS methodology.

14. Experience in cloud development, technology, and/or management would be preferred.

15. Highly adaptable and ability to pick up new skills and knowledge in a short period of time.

16. Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills as well as detail oriented.

17. Committed and able to work under pressure to meet assignment deadlines.

18. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
