- To have complete knowledge on food / beverage / service available in sections appointed.
- Ensure that Ixora Hotel standards, policies and procedures are explained to staff, and are correctly applied.
- Ensures all team staff know their product knowledge, service and preparation skills to be able to deliver the highest standards of service and selling opportunities.
- Ensures that staff applies the necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitors and ensure smooth operations of the sections appointed (restaurants / banquet / beverage - as applicable).
- Maintains consistency in quality of food and beverage / service / full cleanliness of sections appointed.
- Leads and trains the team to perform efficiently and effectively in delivery of service standards, and meeting expected levels of work, productivity.
- Delivers excellent levels of customer service.
- Upsells at every opportunity.
- Checks set-up / mis-en-place prior to start of operations
- Obtains customer feedback during operations to ensure satisfaction
- Handles minor complaints and reports them to the Manager or Assistant for proper action
- Ensures that all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned, in order to prolong usage
- Practices economy of food, beverage, paper supplies, electricity and water (practise recycling whenever possible), ensuring all par stock levels for stock are maintained at all times.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,350.00 per month
