Chargeman BO

Job Description:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high voltage electrical systems including transformers, switchgear and distribution networks
• Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems and installations
• Perform necessary repair and maintenance of electrical components or systems as required
• To liaise with and attend to local statutory bodies and government regulatory bodies on all utility services and compliance matters (TNB, DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga) and etc
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with regulatory standards and safety guideline while maintaining compliance with Energy Commission of Malaysia requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for electrical systems and equipment
• Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team on high voltage electrical issues
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers for specialized services and parts
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedule, repairs and equipment inspections
• Prepare and submit required reports to management and regulatory authorities
• Implement corrective actions and restore power supply safety and efficiently
• Perform any work assigned by the Management as and when necessary

Job Requirements:

• Competent Chargeman (BO) registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia
• Possess at least 5 years work experience in manufacturing industries or equivalent
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, components and regulations in Malaysia
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Able to attend any emergencies

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
