  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, combined with a deep understanding of engineering principles, to provide technical support and solutions that enhance our engineering operations and infrastructure. As an IT Specialist, you will work closely with engineering teams to maintain, optimize, and improve IT systems that support engineering projects, including hardware, software, and network solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot engineering-related hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of IT infrastructure with engineering systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Provide support for engineering software applications, including installation, configuration, and updates.
  • Manage IT systems for data storage, backup, and recovery processes, ensuring minimal downtime for engineering operations.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of specialized engineering tools, equipment, and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues related to engineering applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT workflows and streamline engineering processes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies in IT and engineering systems.
  • Assist in managing IT projects related to engineering tools, software upgrades, or system changes.
  • Provide training and technical support to engineering staff on IT systems and tools.
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides related to engineering systems.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT support or IT systems management, preferably in an engineering environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with IT security practices, particularly in an engineering context.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Experience with industrial automation, IoT systems, or PLC programming.
  • Experience with systems integration and data management for engineering applications.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and software development practices used in engineering.
