About the job

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and reconcile transitory accounts, payment providers, bank accounts, general ledger, and customer accounts to identify discrepancies.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of cash applications, credit card transactions, and bank transactions, including EGC and vouchers.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies related to customer payments and accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and financial documents.
  • Collaborate with the local finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards, as well as with store staff and the client service team.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing and payments.
  • Support month-end closing activities and reporting.
  • Prepare documentation for audits as required.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and provide backup support as needed, along with other accounting duties as assigned.

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role and understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent communicator who can adapt to different audiences
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a passion for working with numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and standard software tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ideally knowledge in SAP
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluency in writing and speaking in English and Mandarin is a plus
  • “Getting things done” and service orientated attitude combined with the ability to communicate and explain procedures and solution proposals to partners
  • Excellent cooperation skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset, process orientation and a solution orientated work approach
