About the job
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor and reconcile transitory accounts, payment providers, bank accounts, general ledger, and customer accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash applications, credit card transactions, and bank transactions, including EGC and vouchers.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies related to customer payments and accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and financial documents.
- Collaborate with the local finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards, as well as with store staff and the client service team.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing and payments.
- Support month-end closing activities and reporting.
- Prepare documentation for audits as required.
- Perform ad hoc tasks and provide backup support as needed, along with other accounting duties as assigned.
About you
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role and understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent communicator who can adapt to different audiences
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a passion for working with numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and standard software tools
- Proficiency in MS Office and ideally knowledge in SAP
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluency in writing and speaking in English and Mandarin is a plus
- “Getting things done” and service orientated attitude combined with the ability to communicate and explain procedures and solution proposals to partners
- Excellent cooperation skills
- Continuous improvement mindset, process orientation and a solution orientated work approach
