Job Details

Manage supplier quality related topics for purchased finished goods and components, focusing on quality and compliance activities related to the Approved Supplier List (ASL), Metrics, SACRs (Supplier Add Change Request).

Essential Duties

  • Ensures operational, functional and compliance excellence.

  • Supports all ASL compliance and ongoing oversight activities including Quality Agreements, Change Notification Agreements, supplier third-party certifications and Supplier Add, Change Requests (SACRs).

  • Create quality-related contracts and negotiates with suppliers of related quality topics (such as extent of change notification, etc.).

  • Analyses vendor activity to determine future need, and performs vendor delete activities as needed.

  • Conducts Supplier Surveys and other associated activities.

  • Creates and manages department metrics. Monitor departmental KPIs and report data at Management Review Meetings.

  • Expert in Supplier Selection and Supplier Management Process. Controls process to add suppliers to ASL and associated systems.

  • Provide support during external audits in the region.

  • Provide individual contributions in problem-solving efforts on selected projects to improve quality.

  • Requires periodic interaction on North America and European times zones.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Quality/Engineering or Life Science discipline - Required

Experience

5+ years: Quality Control experience - Required

Skills

  • Demonstrated ability in generating and negotiating quality-related contracts with suppliers.

  • Use of Agile PLDM system and Oracle ERP system

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills – internally and externally. Ability to assert Haemonetics quality requirements and urgency to suppliers and get results.

  • Highly thorough and dependable

  • Ability to work globally across time zones

  • Background in product structure, BOMs and MRP systems is helpful.

  • Excellent collaboration and team building skills

  • Demonstrated written communication skills

  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Assumes personal responsibility for actions

  • Very good knowledge and speaking of English

  • Good knowledge of ISO9001 standard; preferably ISO13485

  • Good knowledge of process documentation and key performance indicator (KPI) analysis

  • Knowledge of quality tools

  • Demonstrates a high commitment to quality

  • Good computer skills; at ease with usual programs (Strong Excel user, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
