SALARY RANGE : 4000 - 5500 MYR

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

  • Develop and conceptualize engaging creative copy direction for corporate and marketing campaigns

  • Write, edit and oversee copy production across all departments and channels

  • From EDMs, social media postings and taglines to scripts and large-scale campaigns, your copy will touch every part of business.

  • Organise end-to-end radio recordings and attend production shoots

  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, branding, product and other teams

  • Collaborate with other departments to determine consistency in copy tone and style, ensuring that it complements accompanying artwork

  • Collaborate with designers to develop engaging and inspiring creatives.

  • Maintain high standards of copywriting and exercise quality control across all deliverables

  • In the loop of industry-wide trends to create engaging and culturally relevant copy and content that inspires, engages and sells

REQUIREMENTS

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

  • Ability to write, edit, and oversee content for various platforms (EDMs, social media, scripts, campaigns) with a clear, engaging, and consistent tone.

  • Capable of developing innovative content ideas that align with business goals and resonate with target audiences.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects, including end-to-end production processes like radio recordings and video shoots, while meeting deadlines.

  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including creative, marketing, branding, and product teams, ensuring alignment in messaging and visuals.

  • Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and high standards across all content deliverables.

  • Keeping up with trends and cultural shifts to create relevant, inspiring, and market-driven content.
