Production Supervisor

The successful candidate will oversee manufacturing processes, manage production staff, and coordinate resources. Key responsibilities include leading daily performance reviews, scheduling personnel, resolving issues, and ensuring equipment maintenance. They will also coach employees, enforce policies, maintain a safe work environment, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What will you be doing?
Supervise production activities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and adherence to manufacturing processes, accounting.
Manage resources effectively, including monitoring attendance, maintaining accurate discipline, and compiling and analyzing production performance data.
Focus on continuous improvement, including maintaining workplace safety, ensuring accurate reporting, conducting equipment maintenance, and facilitating communication between management and employees.
What will you need to be successful?
Candidates must hold a Master's, Degree, or Diploma in Mechanical or Material Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Supervisory and mentor skills, along with expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, are crucial for this role.
A minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in a machining environment is required. Candidates must have hands-on experience operating CNC machines and handling secondary processes such as deburring, polishing, sandblasting, CNC grinding, and CMM. Experience working in the medical device industry or other regulated environments is highly preferred.
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and leadership abilities and proficiency in writing clear and accurate reports. Practical experience with MS Office and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings are critical for success in this role.
