Arup is looking for a self-managed Document Controller to support our project teams with document management processes. In this role, you will assist in managing and distributing project documentation, ensuring quality control, and supporting project communication. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of projects in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The Opportunity

  • Provide project support through document control, including managing reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of documentation before issuing to clients and stakeholders.
  • Set up and maintain document control processes, including managing correspondence, project emails, and document registers.
  • Assist in the management of project deliverables, RFIs, and comments, ensuring proper flow and documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to regional document control initiatives for greater efficiency.

Is this role right for you?

  • At least 2 years of experience in document control, preferably in a project environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with online document management systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • High organizational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining document accuracy.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to contribute to process improvements.
