Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive, inspect, and properly store construction materials, tools, and equipment. Organize and maintain accurate inventory system (manual or digital) to track materials and equipment.
2. Issue materials, tools, and equipment to construction staff and contractors as required.
3. Maintain a log of items issued, along with quantities and dates.
4. Monitor stock levels and alert management when reordering is required.
5. Perform regular stock takes and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
6. Ensure materials and equipment are stored in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
7. Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper handling, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
8. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
9. Prepare periodic reports on stock levels, usage, and material requirements
10. Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
11. Work closely with project managers and site foremen to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
12. Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment for repair or replacement.
13. Perform general housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and organized store area
14. Any other duties assigned by the Superior and/or the Management
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent (further education in supply chain management, logistics, or construction management is a plus).
· Previous experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
· Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.
· Ability to use inventory management software (or willingness to learn)
· Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
· Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.

Pay: Up to RM3,000.00 per month
