Unit Trust Agent
Job Summary:
As a Unit Trust Agent, you will be responsible for promoting and selling investment products, wasiat, and other financial products. You will help clients achieve their financial goals by providing tailored advice on investments, wealth management, and estate planning, while also offering solutions to meet their long-term financial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote Financial Products: Present and sell unit trust investment products, wasiat services, and other financial.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing them with excellent customer service and personalized financial solutions.
- Provide Financial Advice: Assist clients in understanding their financial goals and needs, and recommend suitable financial products such as unit trusts, investment plans, and will writing.
- Conduct Market Research: Stay updated with the latest market trends, investment opportunities, and financial products available from the company and government institutions to provide clients with relevant options.
- Sales and Performance Targets: Work towards meeting sales targets and objectives by actively prospecting, generating leads, and converting potential clients into customers.
- Networking: Attend events, seminars, and webinars to network and promote financial products to a wider audience.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all client documentation, contracts, and financial agreements are completed accurately and in compliance with the regulatory requirements.
- Ongoing Client Support: Provide ongoing assistance to clients by updating them on their investment performance, answering queries, and suggesting adjustments to their portfolios when necessary.
- Financial Education: Educate clients about the benefits of unit trusts, estate planning (wasiat), and other financial services to empower them to make informed decisions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Minimum SPM or equivalent. A degree in finance, economics, business, or related fields is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in sales, customer service, or financial advisory is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Sales-Oriented: Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Networking Ability: Comfortable attending events, making calls, and using social media to connect with potential clients.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently, as well as in a team, with a flexible approach to work.
