- Review, revise and maintain Food Safety manual, Standard operating procedure (SOP), Product Specification, Certificate of Analysis (COA), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) etc.
- Implement quality assurance programs that effectively monitor product manufacturing in compliance with GMP’s, SOP’s, and HACCP.
- Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor
- To maintain HALAL system documentation: Including for new application and renewal.
- Assist Operation Manager to conduct internal audit (GMP, Food Safety and Food Security) and internal training / awareness training.
- Monitor sensory testing accordingly and IFU activity.
- Make decisions concerning product quality, including shutting down line when processes do not conform to specification.
- Directly involved in ensuring all food produced are safe for human consumption by implementing Critical Control Point (CCP) and Control Point (CP) checks.
- Developing and maintain Food safety and quality standard system.
- Communicate directly with internal customer, client and supplier regarding Food Safety and Food Quality issue: Including answers or issue the Corrective Action Request (CAR) and handle customer complaint or feedback.
- Monitoring unloading activity including supplier incoming process.
- Advise management to improvement operation activity and quality performance: Including investigate. Method changes and Critical Control Point (CCP) verification.
- Organize and coordinate the Food Safety Team.
- Ensure that the food safety management system is in compliance to the reference standard.
- Ensure food safety management system is on-going, effective, suitable and valid.
- Report on the effectiveness & suitability of the food safety management system to the Management.
- Ensure proper training of food safety team.
Requirement
- Minimum Diploma and above in Food Technology, Food Service, Microbiology, Food Science and related course.
- Minimum 3-4 years working experience in food industry and food processing in advantages.
- Profesional Halal Executive certificate holder.
- Good basic knowledge and skill in Food Safety and Quality requirement, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Food Security and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies.
- Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Experience in directing and supervising QAQC personnel.

Pay: RM3,700.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
