Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Executive/Senior Executive in Reinsurance (RI) to manage and support our reinsurance activities. This role involves the placement and administration of facultative reinsurance, facilitating inward reinsurance, and managing related tasks such as reconciliation, reporting, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reinsurance processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively with insurers, reinsurers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform the placement of Facultative Reinsurance (RI) outwards with insurers, reinsurers, and brokers, ensuring alignment with company strategies.
  • Collaborate with Line Underwriters to facilitate Facultative Inwards, ensuring they align with the company’s underwriting preferences and risk appetite.
  • Administer and reconcile the CABFac and CABCO processes.
  • Complete Placement Completion Reports (PCR) and manage Large & Specialised Risks (LSR)-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of treaty setup and manage reinsurance accounts within the system.
  • Ensure all data is up-to-date and in line with current reinsurance arrangements.
  • Extract, interpret, and analyze reinsurance statistics, including treaty data.
  • Provide insights to support decision-making, risk management, and reinsurance strategy.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, or a related field (additional certifications in reinsurance or insurance a plus).
  • 1-2 years of experience in reinsurance or related fields.
  • Knowledge of facultative reinsurance, treaty placements, and reinsurance systems.
  • Familiarity with CABFac, CABCO, and LSR processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting data and generating reports.
  • Proficient in reinsurance management software and MS Office applications.
