Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for store renovations and maintenance projects.
- Manage and monitor expenditures to stay within allocated budgets.
- Draft and review tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities for construction or maintenance works.
- Evaluate contractor bids and recommend selections.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of retail outlet setups or refurbishments.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify the quality of work.
- Source and negotiate terms with suppliers for materials and services.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Team to schedule and manage repair works.
- Develop cost-effective strategies for long-term maintenance of retail outlets.
Key Requirements
- Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related fields.
- Experience: 2-5 years in a QS role, preferably within retail or commercial projects.
- Skills: Proficiency in QS software, excellent negotiation skills, and an understanding of local construction practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
