Job Overview:
As a Service Crew member at The Five Damansara, you will be the face of the restaurant, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and supporting the restaurant team in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
  • Assist guests in menu selection and make recommendations when necessary.
  • Take and process customer orders accurately.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring the correct order and presentation.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any inquiries, concerns, or special requests.
  • Order Management:
  • Input orders accurately into the POS system.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Monitor tables to ensure guests' needs are met during their visit.
  • Cleanliness & Organization:
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the restaurant, including dining area, tables, and restrooms.
  • Set up and clear tables before and after each guest.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of utensils, glassware, and other restaurant supplies.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service crew members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in stock and inventory checks when needed.
  • Support the team in handling busy periods and maintaining positive service standards.
  • Health & Safety Standards:
  • Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines in handling food and beverages.
  • Maintain a safe environment for both customers and team members.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Upselling & Promotions:
  • Actively promote restaurant specials, events, and new menu items.
  • Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
