Job Summary:
The Income Auditor is to ensure that daily receipts such as hotel revenue is correctly captured and recorded in the accounting ledgers. Various statistical reports are required to be prepared by the Income Auditor to indicate the daily revenue status of the Hotel.
Due to visa limitations, only locals will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Audit daily revenue, guest checks, vouchers, and reports for accuracy.
- Ensure all reports align with Opera and Daily Revenue/F&B Reports.
- Record and verify cashier’s daily cash revenue, noting discrepancies.
- Check guest ledger balances, credit card batching, and ensure proper authorisation for checks.
- Prepare and distribute Daily Revenue Report, incorporating adjustments.
- Verify sequential numbering of checks and report any lost/voided vouchers.
- Review allowance, rebate, and complimentary room authorisation.
- Reconcile tenant revenue, deposits, and ensure compliance with cashier procedures.
- Perform monthly surprise cash counts and prepare related reports.
- Reconcile Government Tax payments
- Complete additional duties assigned by the Assistant/Finance Manager.
What We're Looking For:
- LCCI / Diploma / Degree or Professional Accounting qualifications.
- Preferably 2 years in a related role, with supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Opera.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High integrity and honesty.
- Knowledge of accounting and computer systems.
