Role:

As a Video Creator and Scriptwriter, you will be responsible for creating high-quality marketing videos and writing scripts for various digital platforms. Your role will focus on showcasing the features, benefits, and usability of our wood and furniture products in an engaging and informative way. You will work closely with the marketing team to produce content that aligns with our overall brand and marketing strategy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit marketing videos that highlight the features and benefits of wood and furniture products, focusing on engaging visuals and storytelling.
Scriptwriting: Write compelling scripts for videos, ads, and promotional content, ensuring the tone and messaging align with the brand and audience.
Creative Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create original concepts for video content and characters that resonate with the target audience.
Content Optimization: Adapt video content for different digital platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and website, ensuring it is optimized for each platform.
Project Management: Manage video production timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Storytelling: Develop engaging narratives and characters that effectively communicate the brand story and promote the product in a relatable manner.
Collaboration: Work with the design, production, and marketing teams to ensure the consistency of branding across all video content.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, Visual Arts, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in video production and scriptwriting, especially for product marketing, preferably in the wood or furniture industry.
Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong scriptwriting skills with the ability to develop creative, engaging, and persuasive scripts for various formats (e.g., video ads, social media, website content).
Experience in digital marketing and understanding how to optimize video content for multiple online platforms.
Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to develop characters and integrate them into marketing content, ensuring they resonate with the target audience.

Languages Required:

English
Bahasa Malaysia
Mandarin would be an advantage.
