Purchasing Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials.

Source and compare suppliers to obtain the best pricing and quality.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important procurement data.

Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm order details and resolve any discrepancies.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast purchasing needs.

Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards.

Prepare reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.

Handle any administrative duties related to purchasing functions.

Job Summary:Johnids Design Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Clerk to support our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling purchasing tasks, ensuring timely procurement of materials, and maintaining accurate records to support the company's operations.

Requirements:

Minimum of a diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

At least 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Familiarity with interior design materials and suppliers is an added advantage.
