Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Training
- Build on-the-job training (OJT) curricula, learning items, and resources to support team member training of assigned work tasks
- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of OJT resources, including training plans, curricula, learning items, primary and supplemental resources, certification objectives, and assessments.
- Communicate regularly with leaders from assigned areas to understand the training needs and report on training initiatives
- Facilitate regular meetings with the team and leaders to review key priorities, training deployments, readiness, and compliance
- Provide comprehensive support during audits by ensuring all vital documentation and compliance requirements are met
Documentation
- Identify business needs and establish content requirements for target audience
- Use standard English grammar, mechanics, and composition
- Carry out to appropriate documentation standards, styles, and templates
- Work with subject matter experts to develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Build and modify graphics and images
- Edit and proofread documentation for accuracy
- Establish and maintain approval routes and notifications
- Store documents in the appropriate repository, using the accurate document securities and keywords
- Ensure to follow up on change requests effectively
- Facilitate periodic document reviews for controlled documents
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Extract and organize data for visualization
- Perform analysis, create graphs for metrics reporting, and build, publish, and refresh reports according to an agreed-upon schedule with key partners
Program Ownership
- Facilitate the planning, implementation and evaluation of an assigned program using the fiscal-year roadmap process
- Document key business processes, guidelines and standards
- Identify gaps or discrepancies that exist and outline appropriate interventions
- Integrate preferred practices
- Establish metrics, set targets, collect data and measure results
- Establish internal process metrics to supervise program effectiveness and efficiency
- Implement feedback systems for continuous improvement
Project Management: Project Manager
- Facilitate project meetings, ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, and develop the project charter, including the problem statement, scope, objectives, and success criteria
- Develop the work breakdown structure to include achievements, results, schedule, critical path, communication
- Plan for required resources and identify project core team members and key partners
- Monitor project execution, handle changes, and mitigate risks
- Evaluate project proficiency in meeting objectives, results and achievements
- Compile and deliver the project closing report to key team members
Project Management: Core Team Participant
- Attend project meetings, complete assigned action items on time, and participate in drafting the project charter, including the problem statement, scope, objectives, success criteria, results, schedule, communication, and risk mitigation plans
- Support project execution to closure
Supervision
- Lead a group of trainers, supervise their work performance, and ensure they fulfill their assigned responsibilities optimally
- Communicate organizational needs, oversee employees' performance, provide guidance, support, identify development needs, and handle the reciprocal relationship between trainers and the organization so that each is successful
Safety & Quality
- Fulfill required safety training requirements and perform work in compliance with safety policies
- Identify and promptly report hazards
- Adhere to safety procedures and area work rules
- Use accurate lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically detailed manner
