This opportunity is with one of the world's largest independent electronic component distributors. We are currently looking for Account Managers with Semi-Conductor industry experience to join our team in Asia.

You will be responsible for new sales generation and account development and maintenance with the objective of maximising revenue in line with the Company’s long and short-term strategic objectives.

Ideally with some knowledge / experience with semiconductor distributor / brokering, we are looking for young, hungry, aggressive, adaptable people who are keen to develop sales and quickly grow revenue.

Job Description:

  • Drive revenue through prospecting new customers, managing existing customer relationships, and growing business within accounts.
  • Maintain and develop a profitable customer portfolio through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers’ business requirements.
  • Generate, respond to and follow-up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Liaise internally in order to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise internally in order to resolve issues with both customers and suppliers including, when required, any financial issues.
  • Attend and present at customer meetings, always representing the Company in a professional manner.
  • Identify and report market and customer trends.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Observe competitor activity and gather intelligence.
  • Liaise with global business units to maximize overall Company sales opportunities.
  • Ensure all sales administration is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update customer database.
  • Conduct and report account planning strategies when required.
  • Attend industry functions when required.

Prerequisites and skills needed:

  • Has 2-3 year sales experience in the electronic components industry is required
  • Worked in one of the major Global EMS
  • Cold calling and prospecting of customers to advertise the value-added services that Rebound offers
  • Individuals eager to use their experience and consultative sales skills to clearly establish the customer's business requirements
  • Proven ability to develop business relationships and penetrate and grow business from new and existing accounts
  • Advanced problem solving and issue management skills
  • Highly motivated professionals with a passion for sales
  • Proven sales success and the ability to drive revenue
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and always maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • The ability to travel domestically
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor’s degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
