Strategy & Planning

1) Shape high level strategy, as well as functional, non-functional and infrastructure requirements into application, data and technical architecture design and their fitment into the existing architecture environment in compliance with the bank’s enterprise architecture standards.

2) In addition to the technical aspects, oversee and responsible to provide business architecture design direction and alignment within the project.

Project Delivery

1) Work with all relevant parties to translate functional, non-functional and infrastructure requirements into detailed solution items, covering application, data, integration, IT security and infrastructure domains.

2) Coordinate with vendors and internal teams, identify action owners and delivery timeline.

3) Minimize customizations in these detailed solution items by challenging the vendors and principals by identifying out-of-the box or alternative approaches to meet business requirements, adhering to the target set by bank’s management.

4) Prepare for and run the Solution Design Authority committee meetings, to discuss and seek direction on certain design approaches and to seek approval on certain unavoidable customizations.

5) Drive, monitor and review delivery of solution items and the associated documentation by vendors.

6) Participate in testing and review test results to ensure deliverables are as expected.

7) Liaise with various business and technology, including external stakeholders in resolving and escalating issues related to the solution.

8) Keep track and manage the impacts, interfaces and inter-dependencies of change requests and different projects.

9) Adheres to all applicable procedures, company policies and any other quality or regulatory requirements.

10) Act as the main point of contact as solution architect for solution related matters. Participate and provide input in various project forums, such as daily cadence and weekly project working committee meetings.

Stakeholder Management

1) Provide detailed status reporting to key stakeholders on a timely basis.

2) Provide leadership and manage performance of relevant project resources including internal and external parties who are involved in the projects. This includes recruiting, training, developing and supervising those resources, and ensuring performance expectations are communicated and met.

3) Liaise with multiple stakeholders; both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view for the project and align all parties in terms of strategy, processes, information, and IT assets

Vendor Management

1) Manage the vendors’ delivery as per agreed scope and timeline.

2) Work with the relevant vendors to resolve project and technical related issues, and monitor until closure.

3) Identify and escalate risks and issues related to performance of vendors involved. Propose mitigation and resolution, collaborate with vendors to implement them.

Audit Findings

1) Participate in audit reviews and ensure they are carried out according to governance standards, policies and procedures.

2) Remediate audit findings with relevant teams on a timely manner

3) Provide progress updates to project office, escalate any critical risk or issue

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2 certified (preferred)
  • More than 12 years of technical project delivery and solution architecture experience with at least 6 years in the same industry.
  • Delivered large scale projects from project inception through the entire project life cycle.
  • Familiar with the following domains:
  • CRM sales and services
  • Consumer banking products and channels
  • Oracle Siebel CRM and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platforms
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Posses analytical and strategic with a track record of success in delivering results within a large complex organization.
  • Must have strong leadership and people management skills; ability to influence, organizational ability and time management.
  • Embody the organisation culture and aligns and support of organisation vision and mission.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
  • Highly result oriented and can work independently.
  • Demonstrates ability to build relationships and work well with peers from both business and technology stakeholders and interact effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work / projects in the team.
