Responsibility
- Be an integral member of the DevOps teams responsible for supporting and enhancing our Laboratory Data Management Systems (LIMS) where you will actively collaborate with external suppliers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Provide support and guidance to our partners on complex IT application challenges, as well as on the digitization and automation of laboratory processes.
- Participate in the investigation of issues and the development of innovative solutions to effectively address new requirements for our global LIMS offerings.
- Assist implementation teams in configuring customer environments, rolling out new application builds, and supporting as well as conducting application testing to ensure quality and reliability.
Requirements
Education
- Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology, or related discipline
Working Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in supporting enterprise applications. Experience with Laboratory Data Management Systems (LIMS) / other laboratory systems is preferred
Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)
- Experience in providing L2/L3 support for enterprise applications; with a strong customer service mindset to effectively address user needs and resolve issues.
- Experience in engaging with stakeholders to collect requirements and transform them into well-defined functional specifications.
- Knowledgeable in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, or other web application development technologies.
- Proficient in SQL/Oracle databases, demonstrating strong skills in writing queries. Experience in developing procedures, triggers, and creating views is a plus
- Brings experience in leveraging common ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) and applying ITIL support processes, including Request Fulfillment, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling troubleshooting and provision of solutions for a diverse range of complex issues and requirements.
- Adaptable to changes in technology and eager to learn new applications and tools as needed.
- Maintains a growth mindset, demonstrating curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement to foster a positive and energized team culture.
- A collaborative team player, willing to share knowledge and support colleagues.
- Possesses excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Technical & Professional Knowledge (Additional plus/nice to have Skills)
- Experience with labeling and reporting tools, preferably Jasper Reports.
- Good understanding of application server (e.g. JBoss and experience working with Linux or Windows-based software packages and tools)
- Knowledge in the support of Microsoft and Linux OS client and server systems.
- Knowledge in system interface with ERP systems such as SAP
- Experience in process mapping, gap analysis and driving improvements.
- Knowledgeable in working within regulated environments, including GLP, GMP, and ISO standards.
- Available during weekend for maintenance and patching activities when requirement arise.
