Senior IT Software Application Engineer / Senior Programmer

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with expertise and a passion for analyzing new software application requests, and where appropriate, designing, developing, testing, commissioning, and documenting application software based on user requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyze and enhance existing and new systems to improve functionality and meet evolving business needs.
• Develop programs and code that adhere to industry standards, ensuring ease of future maintenance and enhancement.
• Possess a strong understanding of the various phases of the software development lifecycle, along with solid project management skills.
• Take full technical responsibility for software projects from inception to completion.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and efficiently, acquiring new skills with minimal delay.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with all levels of staff within the company.
• Support and maintain Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and legacy systems.
• Assist in the maintenance and support of other application software as needed.

Qualification and Work Experience :

• Minimum of a Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software programming is required.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages and tools: ASP.NET, C#, API, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with relational databases: MSSQL or Oracle.
• Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
