Engineer II - Supplier Quality

Responsibility:

1. Represents and supports all technical aspects relating to supplier selection based on supplier technical capability and capacity to provide AE requirements at an acceptable level of quality by conducting comprehensive technical surveys of potential suppliers.

2. Assists in development of commodity strategy by working closely with commodity group.

3. Ensures that approved suppliers conform to all conditions defined in our Supplier Quality System Manual and provide evidence of continuous improvement in the quality of their output.

4. Review and response to the SCB/PCN timely.

5. Audit key suppliers regularly and prepare the audit report.

6. Support SQA for SQ coded customer failure, analysis and find the root cause.

7. Provide "Knowledge Transfer" training to all new suppliers to ensure they are fully understood AE requirement and business process.

8. Prepare SBR (Supplier Business Review, aka QBR/PBR) for Quality section and attend.

9. Regular review FMEA and SPM (Supplier Process Management Plan) with vendors to ensure the improvement and process control are in place.

10. Review, track, and analyze annual quality data and provide QIP (Quality Improvement Plan).

Requirement:

1. Experience in the manufacturing process and quality control.

2. Experience in the quality tools application such as SPC, FMEA, 8D and etc., preferably Six Sigma green belt/ black belt certified.

3. Knowledge of ISO procedure and requirement.

4. Experience in auditing, qualifying, and selecting suppliers.

5. Able to interpret PCB drawing.

6. Understand the IPC 600, 610 standard & requirement and preferably able to interpret electronic schematic drawing.

7. Some travel will be required.

SKILLS:

1. Good oral and writing communication skills in English & Mandarin

2. Ability to work in a team environment.

3. Proficient in other Microsoft applications.

4. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in PCB/PCBA industry. Bachelor’s degree in electronic & electrical/mechanical engineering or science/ Physic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM8,400.00 per month
