Test Engineer (Hardware)

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain hardware, test benches, and circuit boards.
• Support remote engineers by performing tasks like swapping devices, power cycling, and configuring hardware.
• Conduct hardware tests and measurements based on provided procedures.
• Collect test data, summarize results, and share insights with engineers.
• Perform initial hardware debugging, resolve basic issues, and escalate complex problems to engineers.
• Write or modify automation scripts in languages like Python, TCL, and Batch.
• Use advanced equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, etc.) to measure and test high-speed FPGA/PLD devices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of IC testing methods and experience with timing, frequency, voltage, and current measurements.
• Knowledge of FPGA architecture (preferred).
• Experience with scripting languages like Python and TCL (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with high-speed testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,300.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
