QC Inspector
Responsibilities
1. Perform inspection at all stages of fabrication of products for accuracy and standard of workmanship and to hold any fabrication work that does not comply with code requirement.
2. Perform inspection of purchased materials.
3. Recording and compiling quality records for Manufacturer Data Reports.
4. Ensuring that the production works are carried out in accordance to procedures acceptable to the Codes.
5. To monitor the implementation of inspection and test procedures.
6. Liaise with Third Party Inspector, NDE companies, and Government Inspector or client representative in matters relating to inspection and product acceptance.
7. Ensuring that the correct Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) are being applied by Production Department and welders are qualified to perform the intended work.
8. Advisement, coordination, and interaction with all departments to accomplish all objectives.
9. Perform / witness inspections and testing of complete product and complete paperwork as required.
10. Create, review and document all the material certificates, mill certificates, production report, test report as deemed necessary.
11. Identify discrepancies during inspections and report findings to QA/QC Supervisor / Engineer / Head.
12. Raise Non-Conformance Report (NCR) if any non-conformance found during inspection.
13. Any other related duties as may be instructed by your superior from time to time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to RM2,500.00 per month
