Home to some of Kuala Lumpur’s most loved bakeries, restaurants and cafes, Kenny Hills Hospitality Group is all about food that is good for the soul alongside legendary service. Currently with 22 outlets across 10 brands, 2025 will be an exciting time for the Group as we are looking to expand our Catering & Events team. Hence, we are looking for a Catering and Events Specialist with excellent organizational skills and strong command of English and Bahasa to join our team. The role involves managing all aspects of catering and event operations, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.

If you are all about client communication, event logistics, and making sure everything’s set up and running smoothly (even at odd hours!) - this is the role for you! He/She will also handle inventory, liaise with the kitchen, and manage event teams. Strong English and Bahasa communication is key!

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Customer Engagement:
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email in both English and Bahasa.
  • Meet with customers and venue representatives to discuss and finalize event details.

2. Quotations and Payments:

  • Prepare and send detailed, accurate quotations tailored to client needs.
  • Issue invoices and actively follow up on payments to ensure timely collection.

3. Logistics and Operations:

  • Manage and coordinate logistics for events, including transportation, setup, and teardown during odd hours.
  • Oversee event inventory and store to ensure availability and quality of supplies.
  • Handle internal orders with the bakery and hot kitchen to ensure timely preparation and delivery.

4. On-Site Event Management:

  • Supervise and guide team members during on-site events to ensure seamless execution.
  • Troubleshoot and address any operational issues that arise during events.

5. Event Planning:

  • Develop and maintain a calendar of partner events and collaborations.
  • Work closely with partners, clients, and internal teams to align on expectations and deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Flexible schedule to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends when required.

Leadership skills to manage and motivate on-site teams.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in catering, event planning, or hospitality operations, min of 3 years

Familiarity with invoicing, payment follow-ups, and event logistics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
