Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Golang), preferably with a background in the automotive industry, to join our team.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience and be proficient in Go, Azure and Kubernetes, with a strong emphasis on secure application development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality, scalable and maintainable cloud-native applications using Golang
• Develop and maintain rich, responsive, and dynamic frontend applications using Vue.js framework
• Collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
• Leverage Azure cloud services, including AKS, AAD and Key Vault, to deploy, manage and scale applications effectively
• Ensure the security and reliability of applications running on Azure
• Design and implement robust microservices architectures following best practices
• Ensure secure communication and data exchange between microservices
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for automated and secure deployments
• Oversee containerization and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle
• Securely handle sensitive data, including encryption and access management
• Design and implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Golang, cloud-native technologies and security best practices
• Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies to improve development processes and application performance

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with Golang
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js framework (Vue CLI, Vuex/Pinia, Vue Router)
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with Azure cloud services (AKS, AAD, Key Vault)
• Expertise in Kubernetes, including deployment, management, and scaling applications
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes (Helm experience a plus)
• Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT for securing applications and APIs
• Strong understanding of security best practices (encryption, secrets management, secure coding practices)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and automated deployments
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for learning and a strong desire to build high-quality software
