Position Summary:

The Outbound Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the Outbound Supervisor / Team Lead in overseeing the daily outbound operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of outgoing shipments in a warehouse setting. This role involves picking, packing, sorting, and preparing customer orders for delivery, ensuring all goods are processed according to company policies and procedures. The assistant will also be responsible for inspecting and labeling products, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that all shipping documentation is completed correctly. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.

Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly labeled and documented.

  • Perform quality checks on products before packing to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Organize and stage products in the outbound area to prepare for dispatch.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and performing stock counts.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
  • To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by the employer or any other person by or under OSHA 1994 or any regulation made there under (section 24: General duties of employees at work, OSHA 1994).
  • Ensure Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is inspected daily and used properly.
  • Responsible to take care of company assets and ensure all are in good condition.
  • Strictly adhere to the company handbook and memo issued by Human Resources (HR).

  • Computer and system literacy (OMS/WMS/TMS)
  • Ability to operate Materials Handling Equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck, Power Pallet)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • SPM/ Certificate with minimum 2 years experiences in daily warehouse operation and handling stock in/stock out
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.

  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Understanding of logistics principles, supply chain dynamics, and inventory management practices to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocol.
  • Inventory Control and Management: Proficiency in inventory control methods, including inventory tracking, cycle counting, and implementing best practices to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain orderly warehouse operations.

Working Hours :

  • Morning Shift: 5am - 2pm (Mon-Sat)
  • Evening Shift: 1pm - 10pm (Mon-Fri)

Salary Range : RM2000-RM2500
