  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

The Snr Network F5 Engineer position is the technical interface between the Network department, the business partners and all the other company departments. This candidate is expected to have complete product know-how knowledge, technical hands-on ability, and an in-depth knowledge of F5 for planning, design, implementation/migration and troubleshooting. This is a project and BAU operation role.

Mandatory Responsibilities

1. Plan, design, implement and maintain functional F5 GTM, LTM, LC and iRules solutions.

2. Monitor/Administer all F5 hardware health check (BAU Operations)

3. Resolve all BAU operational issues within the bank’s agreed SLA.

4. Automate mundane BAU operational tasks and monitor/fine tune their effectiveness.

5. Mentor team members on technical issues pertaining to F5

6. Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

7. Communicate with end users, as and when needed

8. Maintain complete technical documentation

9. Suggest and implement improvements in order to improve network performance, capacity and scalability

10. Perform 24x7 standby (on rotation) and participate in Sev1 incidents.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

1. Min. 5+ years of related working experience with F5 (LTM, LC and GTM).

2. Experience with iRules – function within F5 to modify, code, troubleshoot issues.

3. Professional F5 certification.

4. Very good understanding in tcpdump/Wireshark.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
