  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Role:

Are you a dedicated and passionate individual seeking to kickstart your career in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)? We're looking for a motivated EHS intern to join our team at Stenta. As an EHS intern, you'll play a crucial role in assisting our EHS Engineer with both routine and non-routine activities while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the field. This internship is designed to help you meet the requirements of your course while contributing to the success of our EHS programs.

Responsibilities:

As our EHS intern, you will:

  • Assist with day-to-day EHS related tasks.
  • Aid in the implementation of environmental health and safety (H&S) programs on site.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of internal performance metric reports.
  • Contribute to coordinating and executing EHS Assessment programs, including Job Safety Analysis.
  • Help implement the Industrial Hygiene program, which includes tasks such as SDS management, labeling, signage, and chemical inventory.
  • Assist in the implementation of the Site Emergency Response plan.
  • Participate in routine internal and external EHS inspections and audits.
  • Assist in conducting EHS-related training for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Help manage and monitor EHS modules.

Qualifications/Requirements:

To be considered for this internship, you should have:

  • A degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Strong communication skills.
