A CNC Machinist is responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce precision metal , ceramic and quartz parts. This role involves setting up machinery, reading technical blueprints, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, or grinders.
  • Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software based on blueprints and CAD models.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed.
  • Ensure parts are manufactured to specifications and maintain tight tolerances.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to optimize machining processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in CNC machining is a plus.
  • Experience operating CNC machines, with a strong understanding of G-code.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to work independently and solve mechanical problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
