The ideal candidate will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to a given project such as budget, timelines and stakeholder management. They will have strong communication skills that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant parties involved. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues.

Responsibilities
  • To lead and work with the Head of ESG & Strategic Initiatives in conducting Enforceable Undertakings (EU) Steering Committee Meeting every 2 months, including the preparation of meeting minutes and presentation deck for updates.
  • To champion the deliverables of each EU pillars, including but not limited to ESG framework/activities and other strategic initiatives under Marketing and FWDIB.
  • To ensure all expenses incurred to deliver the works for the team being managed according to the procurement guidelines and timely manner.
  • To take charge of any relevant paper works to get budget approval and to review any EU-related expensed prior to the sign off by the Head of ESG & Strategic Initiatives.
  • Ensure high quality work is produced
  • Anticipate and solve any problems related to the program
  • Facilitate communication between relevant stakeholders, internal and external.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in Financial Services Industry (FSI), Takaful, Insurance or Banks.
  • Familiar with FSI regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience in developing, marketing and distributing micro protection products, especially for B40 segment.
  • Experience in managing project of various scale (small, mid-size or large) and able to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Good command in Bahasa Melayu and English language (writing and speaking) is an advantage.
  • Good facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Familiar with ESG framework and reporting is an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to travel for work-related projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
