We are looking for a driven Marketing Analyst Intern (Beauty) to join the team in support of Marketplace growth. The intern will be responsible for supporting the team in brainstorming and implementing business & marketing strategies to grow the Beauty category on Zalora. This role is based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • To spread awareness about Zalora Beauty leveraging social media activations, especially influencers/KOLs.
  • Assist in conceptualizing marketing projects and campaigns based on major events, trends/themes, seasonality, merchandise mix.
  • Work closely with the team members in brainstorming, planning, and executing marketing strategies to raise awareness and drive traffic into Zalora Beauty
  • Assist in the execution of end-to-end KOL seeding program for mega events including scouting & recruiting KOL/Influencers, liaising with KOLs and brands for related matters to ensure smooth execution of the project
  • Collaborate with different team departments and other cross-functional teams for campaign execution and optimization
  • Support performance analysis of ongoing and past projects to provide insights for future campaigns
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with and passion for social media platforms (i.e.: Facebook, Instagram, RED, TikTok)
  • Strong interest and familiarity in the Beauty Industry (Skincare, Hair Care etc.).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite Tools (i.e: G sheet, etc.)
  • Organized multi-tasker with an eye for detail
  • Should be a self-starter, quick learner, go-getter, proactive and have the ability to learn and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full professional proficiency in English. Well versed in Mandarin would be a plus
  • Duration: Able to commit for at least 3 to 6 months
  • Optional: Experience in multiple digital marketing channels- Facebook (Collaborative Ads), Google Ads, Affiliate Marketing etc. Understand marketing metrics and KPIs in order to suggest improvements towards campaigns to optimize ROI
