Your Opportunity:

As the Global Business Process Manager for Demand2Pay (D2P), you are part of the Global Business Process Management organization. In this role, you will be responsible and leading the E2E D2P Strategy realization with a major focus on Strategic Supplier, Risk and Resilience Management. In the role you are accountable for global, cross divisional state-of-the-art process design for his/her business process area within the E2E process. In this role you closely align with the other different process areas like upstream procurement, requisition to receipt, accounts payables including master data and reporting functionalities as well as the global deployment of our solution portfolio. You will work in close collaboration with Business Owners and senior stakeholders from Procurement, Finance, Business, RSS & IT, both divisionally & cross divisionally.

  • Create, shape and implement the Demand 2 Pay vision and strategy to ensure Roche is well equipped to all inside and outside expectation as well as legal obligations for a sustainable, compliant and robust supplier management
  • Define guardrails together with the Global Business Process Owner D2P and peers, with a strong focus on our customer needs
  • Actively pursue the implementation and continuous review of the vision and strategy with major focus around Strategic Supplier and Risk Management
  • Lead product development with focus on Strategic Supplier, Risk and Resilience Management by leveraging internal and external innovation, including providing clear guardrails to enable best in class realization. Collaborate with Business Owners and cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into prioritized features
  • Establish clear metrics for your designed business process area Enhance efficiency and effectiveness, including automation, across all networks, Procurement, RSS Operations, affiliates, and IT by using market insights and best practices
  • Work closely together Business Owners and other senior Stakeholders to drive and support process improvement wherever possible as well as establishing a well deserved customer experience
  • Offer coaching to Product Teams in- and outside the E2E network, and to peers and colleagues at all levels including Agile Ways of Working

Who you are:

  • Strong E2E business process area understanding and deep process knowledge as well as technical and market expertise for Strategic Supplier, Risk and Resilience Management
  • Very firm with all growing legal and environmental expectations which Roche needs to comply continuously
  • Understanding of procurement related Key Process Indicators (KPIs) especially the one for Strategic Supplier Management and high drive to work with data to identify growth opportunities
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; experience in identifying and leading change initiatives and proven track record of effective decision making
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work in complex global networks with international teams and stakeholder communities
  • Agile mindset (speed, stability, flexibility) - works according to and brings in the agile mindset concept in daily operations (e.g. SCRUM, LEAN, Kaizen)
  • Strong presentation skills as well as written and verbal communication skills in English
